Mark Kern is sure the frequent patches are helped by AI

Former Blizzard developer Mark Kern, known as Grummz, wrote that the speed of Crimson Desert patches impresses him and that he is sure the team is using AI. He supports that. The post spread to thousands of views.

Players note that fixes and content arrive more often than in many large projects. Some praise the rise in performance and small things such as an open-all button. Others write that very fast patches bring new crashes because the test was short.

The note records an argument about pace, not proof of which tool sits in Pearl Abyss’s pipeline.
