Patch 1.18 fixes the image on the GTX 1060, still a minimum card
Patch 1.18.00 names the GeForce GTX 1060 on its own: on it and other lower cards, the image was fixed when FSR Frame Generation and XeSS Frame Generation were on. NVIDIA released the card in July 2016 on the Pascal architecture. In Crimson Desert’s minimum spec it sits next to the Radeon RX 5500 XT: 1080p at 30 frames with upscaling from 900p.
AMD officially supports the GeForce GTX 10 series in FSR 3 Upscaling and Frame Generation, but it recommends at least an RTX 20-series card for that feature and warns that the gain on older hardware can be small.
Ordinary Game Ready drivers for Pascal ended in October 2025. For Pascal, Maxwell and Volta, NVIDIA is leaving quarterly security updates through October 2028. Game optimizations in the driver go to Turing and newer, so the studio is closing frame-generation compatibility on its own side. The GTX 1060 remains in the minimum requirements.
