Prime Minister Kim Min-seok called 5 million the country’s best console start
South Korean prime minister Kim Min-seok noted Crimson Desert’s 5 million copies and called it the best result among console projects made in the country. For the local industry, he said, it is a turn: domestic studios can reach new markets.
He separately pointed at the in-house engine: Korean companies make not only mechanics but technology. He praised national color, local cuisine and taekwondo, and promised to support the industry more actively.
This is a political congratulations, not a new patch and not a revision of the sales total.
