Players explain the 78 by saying reviews were written in a rush
At 78 out of 100 on Metacritic, some of the audience was already calling Crimson Desert the flop of the year, but preorders were not being canceled in bulk. The main defense is that the game easily takes more than a hundred hours, while reviewers have to finish it in a few days.
The YouTuber FightinCowboy put the gap this way: critics walk the required minimum, and the interest sits in wandering and in opening mechanics slowly. Players of the closed version add that without effort the project will not appeal, and they compare that to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in this text is the night of 20 March.
