After 400 hours, Powers did not know a flash could cook food

Players found that food in Crimson Desert can be cooked without a fire. The skill Blinding Flash unlocks in the main story and blinds enemies with a flash in combat. Drop raw ingredients on the ground and aim the beam at them, and they cook almost at once.

Will Powers wrote that he had spent about 400 hours in the game and did not know about this. He calls such finds a benefit of talking to players: the studio learns tricks from them.

The note does not say whether cooking with the flash was intended or is a side effect of the ability. The video spread faster than an official description of the skill.
