The Elden Ring shoot is at Conwy Castle, with Godrick's soldiers
An amateur TikTok video shows the Elden Ring film shooting at medieval Conwy Castle in Wales. Alex Garland is trying to fit a game people spend dozens of hours in into a film of about two and a half hours, so the whole map will not reach the screen.
Extras on the walls wear grey and beige armor. The kit matches Godrick's common soldiers from the game. That is where the idea comes from that Godrick the Grafted may be one of the demigods the film actually shows.
The castle could also be a lesser fort rather than Stormveil. Armor alone does not prove the location. The exact plot is promised closer to the pre-release campaign.
For now the footage is useful in another way: the shoot is no longer only a soundstage Church of Marika. It is a real Welsh fortress, and the soldiers on the walls are recognizable.
