A second insider also puts the RE4 remake on Switch 2 in 2026
NateTheHate repeated the rumor that the Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 remakes are headed to Switch 2, and he expects them in 2026. He thinks the trio suits a handheld and could carry ray tracing and high-refresh modes already familiar from PS5 and Xbox Series X.
He did not say whether they would appear at a rumored February Nintendo Direct. Capcom's nearest official Switch 2 package was Requiem alongside Resident Evil 7 and Village, and another announcement could have blurred into that.
It was the second forecast that month. Reese Reilly (Kiwi Talkz) had already said the trilogy would wait until Requiem fever cooled. Capcom is also bringing Pragmata to Switch 2 on day one, plus the exclusive Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
Until the studio speaks, both reports stay rumors. At the end of January the fourth remake still had no official Switch 2 date.
