The Coalition laid out five seasons of E-Day support

On the day early access opened, The Coalition published a support plan for Gears of War: E-Day: five themed seasons on PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Season one, Emergence, adds ranked play, weekly challenges, and a cosmetics shop. It also promises rewards for activity in Gears of War: Reloaded and three two-week events: Halloween, 20 Years of Gears, and Thanksgibbing. Those bring special Versus modes, cooperative Horde Siege missions, and extra bonuses.

Season two, Legacy, marks the series’ 20th anniversary. The celebration starts before the season itself: on 7 November, the anniversary of the original Gears of War, every player gets a gift.

The later seasons are named Infiltration, Pendulum, and Devotion.
