Hell is Us update 1.5 adds XeSS, photo mode, and a MyNacon cap

On 14 January 2026, Rogue Factor shipped Hell is Us update 1.5 on every platform. The build does not add story chapters. It tightens the interface, controls, photo mode, and stability — the parts a player feels every day while finding their own way through Hadea.

The menu now offers a link to a MyNacon account. Linking is optional and does not change the campaign. Anyone who connects the profiles receives the cosmetic Cap - Poutine. Charged-attack damage finally shows in the item panel, stick sensitivity can be set from the menu, and item lists wrap when you scroll past the end.

Photo mode gained a vertical camera move on R2/L2 and LT/RT, plus a separate invert for the Y axis. Settings can turn on the full datapad loading animation. The Lend an Ear achievement was fixed: it failed to unlock if you handed Luhan the radio before speaking with him.

On PC the same build adds XeSS frame generation, a walk toggle, and key remapping that follows the keyboard layout. On PS5, trophy names were corrected for French (France), Spanish (Mexico), and Portuguese (Portugal).
