A fan walked Bohemia and built KingdomCompare for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
A fan walked across Bohemia to test how closely the map of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II sits on the real country. The trip became KingdomCompare, a site that puts an in-game panorama next to a present-day photo.
For the game side he takes a run of photo-mode screenshots, stitches a full circle, and lines it up with the photograph. Details often match. Distances between towns in the game are compressed — otherwise the road would take weeks. Six hundred years have also changed the places themselves.
Kuttenberg is the region covered so far, and Warhorse has already approved the work. He wants to add Trosky from the sequel and Sasau from the first game next. A short note is on X.
