The Switch 2 port of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II targets 1440p, HDR, and a mouse
A day after the Royal Edition announcement, technical targets for the Switch 2 port of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II came out. Handheld play is aimed at a steady 1080p, and the dock raises that to 1440p. Both modes lean on upscaling. HDR is planned, and Joy-Con 2 will emulate a mouse.
Menus will be refit for the smaller screen, and a set of gameplay fixes is part of the port. The edition list is a little more specific than the day before: the base game, the story expansions, exclusive gear, and a bonus quest.
The sequel is on sale now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch 2 year is still 2027.
