The PAPERHEAD EP.0 prologue leaves Steam on 24 September

PAPERHEAD is a boomer shooter from a Russian studio: movement is fast, the soundtrack is harsh, and the thing in your hand is a pencil. The scene is a secret research lab. The player has to dig up the failure inside it, because the cardboard inhabitants have started bleeding and the cause is never written down.

The free prologue, PAPERHEAD EP.0, comes off its Steam page on 24 September 2026. Once that page closes, the prologue can no longer be added to an account, so the window to try the game before the full release lasts only until that date. The prologue page is PAPERHEAD EP.0 on Steam.

As of 18 September, the studio still had not named what the full version contains or which day it launches.
