Valor Mortis targets 30 and 60 fps modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X

Ahead of the 13 October launch, One More Level has spelled out the console modes for Valor Mortis. On base PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X the studio confirmed dynamic 4K and two presets: Quality aims at 30 frames per second, Performance at 60. The developers say dynamic 4K is the target in both modes.

PS5 Pro is promised higher resolution and a stronger image, without specific figures yet. Xbox Series S has a performance mode at 60 frames per second; its resolution target was not given.

The footage was captured on standard PS5 and Series X hardware and shows both modes. Because of capture-hardware limits it was exported at 1080p, then uploaded to YouTube as 4K so the compression would be kinder. That video is not a fair read of the resolution the game actually runs at on the consoles.

Release is 13 October 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. On launch day the game is also set for Xbox Game Pass, and a PlayStation Plus trial is planned.
