No-Context2224 showed an early co-op session over Steam
Modder No-Context2224 ran a first co-op test of Crimson Desert with a friend over Steam and posted the clip on the game’s subreddit. There is no official mode: earlier this year the studio said it was open to multiplayer, but it has not announced a decision.
You can already see the friend run, jump, glide, climb and pull up. Attacks and skills play with animations and effects, and a gear change is visible to the second player. The connection is over Steam without port forwarding. Quests, loot and inventory are separate. There is an experiment: a friend’s hit on an enemy in their world damages the same enemy in yours.
Each person has their own world, so enemies stand in different places. Horses are not synced: the friend rides through the air. Uprooted trees and caught chickens are visible only to the person who did it. This is an early build, not a Pearl Abyss patch.
