The Welcome to Night City card game raised 4 million dollars in minutes

WeirdCo, with CD Projekt Red, launched a collectible card game based on Cyberpunk 2077. The first set is called Welcome to Night City, and it is planned for this year.

The Kickstarter campaign opened on 17 March with a goal of 100,000 dollars. Within minutes it had passed 4 million. The campaign runs until 18 April 2026.

The starter set already names V, Johnny Silverhand, and Judy. A second set, drawn from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, is in progress.

For a tabletop branch of the RPG, that start means the line for cards formed faster than it does for many of the studio's video-game announcements.
