Edgerunners season two arrives in autumn 2026

CD Projekt Red set the season: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 arrives in autumn 2026. Trigger is producing it again. More details are promised on 4 July at Anime Expo.

The date came with dossiers. Roman Karax is a young film obsessive who wants to capture the real truth of a city that no longer cares about cinema. D is a netrunner of the Snake Nation, strong in both code and weapons, looking for the killer of his clan. Wick Kingsley, nicknamed King, was once a legend and by the new season is older and living on the past. Talia Young grew up among corporate elites, wears a mask, and is drawn to chrome and violence.

The story is new and the cast is different. Night City is seen again through eyes other than David's.

For the game it is another reason to walk the same streets, even if the series does not continue the plot one to one.
