Patch 1.0.6 lets players hide Edward's blowpipe in Black Flag Resynced
On 3 August Ubisoft posted the notes for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced update 1.0.6. The download was set for 4 August at 14:00 UTC, 17:00 in Moscow, on every platform. The sizes are 15.2 GB on Xbox Series X|S, 5.03 GB on PlayStation 5, 3.7 GB on PC and 1.8 GB on Steam.
The change players had asked for is a way to take the blowpipe off Edward Kenway's back. Open an outfit in the inventory and press R2 for Hide Gear. Show Gear puts the pipe back on outfits where you still want it.
The rest of the list is a long bug pass. Autosave slots go from 5 to 10. On PC, cutscenes should no longer stick at 30 frames if graphics were switched to custom from a low preset. The notes also cover crashes in ground and naval fights, leg sweeps against attentive or suspicious enemies, the Hellion Armor cape in strong wind, underwater lighting and gaps in the Nassau fort wall. Parkour between a tree and a wall in Kingston gets a fix. On quests, the notes call out James Kidd getting stuck, a missing Kill Upton objective after a reload, and the Mayan Armor that could not be collected. The full list is in the Ubisoft notes.
