Crimson Desert multiplayer would require cutting some graphics

Pearl Abyss warned that multiplayer in Crimson Desert will not be free in terms of the image. Internal tests have already happened. To keep the mode stable on different devices, “certain aspects of the graphics will have to be given up.”

The interest is clear: the world grew out of an MMO and is large. The studio says the balance between frame rate, image and feel is not found yet. There is no release date for online play.

This is a caveat on the long-life talk, not a date announcement. The single-player version does not change because of the statement.
