CD Projekt is ending official Windows 10 support for Cyberpunk 2077
CD Projekt Red will no longer officially support Cyberpunk 2077 on Windows 10. The reason is the same one given earlier for The Witcher 3: Microsoft itself ended support for that system, and the studio wants the same approach for both games.
The game will not be switched off. It can still launch on Windows 10, but builds there will no longer be tested and stability is not guaranteed. Players are told to expect possible problems. Details are in the CD Projekt support note.
This is not a patch that breaks the old OS on a schedule. It is a withdrawal of the obligation: a bug on Windows 10 no longer sits in the fix queue beside Windows 11.
For anyone still on the older system, Night City remains available without a promise that the next update will leave it alone.
