Zero Latency will take Night City into a free-roam VR hall

Zero Latency VR and CD Projekt Red will build a separate experience in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 for a network of free-roam VR halls. It is not a home headset port of the game. Players walk together on an arena, untethered from a television.

Zero Latency chief Tim Ruse called Night City a world that asks to be explored at human scale. Freedom of movement and shared adrenaline are what the venues already do. The experience is inspired by the game, but it does not retell its plot.

The sites use large arenas, wireless headsets, and full-body movement. A launch is promised at network locations worldwide. Details come later.

After the dispute over Luke Ross's paid mod, this is an official VR trace of the franchise, in the form of an attraction rather than a modification.
