COD HQ cannot see the MW4 process: how to attach the campaign trainer

The most common ticket on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 trainer is “no process”, “Play is grey”, “it attaches on the second try”. That is not a broken cheat and not malware. COD HQ boots a shell first; the campaign process appears 15–25 seconds later. MoggyDay looks for the story process (cod, ModernWarfare4, CallofDuty), not the launcher window. Hit Play on the splash and you get nothing.

Working order. 1) Start TrainerHub, open the MW4 card, do not tick cheats yet. 2) From COD HQ open Campaign, wait for the black screen / chapter load — not the online HQ menu. 3) When you are in the mission (or at least the chapter slot is loading) press Play. 4) If it still says no process, wait ten seconds and retry — do not reboot the PC. 5) Drop the network for the session so HQ cannot yank you into a lobby.

What not to do. Do not start the trainer on the splash. Do not force-attach codhq.exe. Do not enable one-hit or super speed on the post-attach cutscene — the scene stalls and you will think the process died. Do not search for an “MW4 trainer without launcher”: a lone exe is what lies about the process. You want the TrainerHub ZIP from this page.

Windows, not a phone. There is no Android / iOS card. Pirated HQ repacks rename the process — unsupported. Licensed Steam 4435490, offline campaign. If a patch updates the HQ shell before the story exe, post the build in comments. Checkpoint guide: Modern Warfare 4 hub. Multiplayer, RICOCHET, ranked are not this trainer’s job.

Search version: download MW4 trainer 2026, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 trainer attach, COD HQ no process, campaign will not hook. Fix: wait for the mission load, press Play again, MoggyDay ZIP, not a random exe.
