Analysts again suggest a hidden DLC, and the studio denies it

Erste Brokerage again tied the rise in Cyberpunk 2077 support spending to a secret DLC on the old REDengine. Spending at its highest since Phantom Liberty, in their reading, points to a modest content update that could be handed to an outside team such as Virtuos, which has already shipped patches and is rumored to be recording new lines.

The game's official representatives answered quickly on X: development of new Cyberpunk 2077 content is finished. In its financial report the studio confirms two secret projects, but it does not call them a second Night City expansion.

Erste has some credit: it was early in talking about a Witcher 3 expansion in 2027, and Songs of the Past is indeed planned, twelve years after the original. For Cyberpunk this remains a guess set against a direct denial.

The fan choice is simple. Trust the X feed, or wait to see if the analyst note is more accurate than the press office.
