Kyle Gallner asked for the role of V and posted a matching haircut

The day after the news of the Paramount film, actor Kyle Gallner, known for Smile 2, Scream, and Dinner in America, offered himself for the role of V. He posted a photo with a short cut and shaved temples, close to the official art of the male hero, and captioned it: take me to Night City.

Viewers in the replies called him a fitting candidate and started tagging producers. A separate wish was to see him beside Keanu Reeves if Reeves returns as Johnny. That is a room's reaction, not a casting decision.

The film is still at the start of preparation. In parallel, on 20 October, Netflix releases the standalone ten-episode Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, which recently showed Talia Young in close detail.

The picture does not have a confirmed V yet. It has an actor who arrived with the haircut before the studio opened auditions.
