The APEX mod opens Sonora Canyon and a Badlands safehouse

Modders Nox, MrBilL61, and TPMG released The APEX — Sonora Canyon and Safehouse. The add-on places a new slice of the Badlands outside Night City: Sonora Canyon, a job, and a hidden safehouse.

Inside, the player can cook, watch a film from the bed, and use a range that stores weapons. The look mixes military and nomad styles. The large garage calls V's current vehicle, and the nearby buildings can be searched for loot.

The authors say they built the location so it would not break the lore and would look like part of the original map, not a separate arena.

For anyone who wants more than the base Badlands, it is another home past the city line, not just a new apartment in a megabuilding.
