In the implant argument, Kiroshi eyes beat weapons
For several days, r/cyberpunkgame on Reddit argued which Cyberpunk 2077 implant people would buy first if the price matched a flagship phone. A post by Faze__Panda suggested a practical set: vision, a translator, a mode without fatigue.
Kiroshi eyes won, with more than 1,700 votes, above any combat modification. The replies named astigmatism, keratoconus, and retinal disease. Someone wrote that they risk losing their sight within ten years, and that cyber eyes would not be a toy.
Next in the three were back and joint implants, synthetic lungs for people who had severe COVID or live with asthma, and a neural link as a dictionary and a route to information, not as a hack. Many rejected brain implants on a network: ads in the head, outside interference, debts after which the hardware could be taken back.
The vote came out domestic. The city's dream in this thread is to stop hurting, not to run walls with a katana.
