The RE4 remake Gold Edition comes to Switch 2 on 16 October

The January rumors turned into a date. The remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 come to Nintendo Switch 2 on 16 October 2026. The fourth game arrives as the Gold Edition: Leon's campaign plus Separate Ways, Ada Wong's story, and the rest of the extra material.

On this console the second game includes every add-on and retells the Raccoon City incident. The third watches those same days through Jill Valentine. The six years between the second and fourth stories are the same gap the remake already keeps.

Capcom is aiming the trio both at people who just finished Requiem and at people opening the series on the new console. The January forecasts from Kiwi Talkz and NateTheHate, that the port would land in 2026, matched the calendar.
