Alinea estimates Crimson Desert revenue above 200 million dollars

With four million sales and a move toward five, Alinea Analytics estimates Crimson Desert revenue at more than 200 million dollars on all platforms. Before release, preorders alone, in their earlier estimate, brought more than 20 million. The PlayStation 5 version, in the new figures, leads with almost 75 million.

Shares fell after the first reviews and then rose on sales. This note adds money, not a new studio sales total.

Separately, Alinea writes that 38 percent of Crimson Desert players on PS5 also played Dragon’s Dogma 2. The overlap also names Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. That is an audience overlap, not a reason for the purchase.
