Players are looking for generative-image traces on Crimson Desert signs

After release, frames from Crimson Desert were pulled apart for signs, paintings and decoration. The screenshots show odd proportions, distorted hands and horses with an impossible number of legs. Some players write that off as failed assets. Others recognize typical failures of generative images.

If a generative tool is confirmed, it could touch Steam’s rule that such content has to be disclosed on the page. At the time of the argument that notice was not there. Pearl Abyss has not answered officially. Earlier the studio said key NPC voices were recorded without a generative model. That statement did not cover decorative pictures.
