The studio says Crimson Desert benchmarks already included Denuvo

A week before launch, Denuvo appeared on the Crimson Desert page, and Steam threads followed with canceled preorders. The main fear was frame drops on requirements that were already high.

Pearl Abyss answered through Forbes writer Paul Tassi rather than on the forum. The studio said every published benchmark and system requirement, including the Digital Foundry analysis, used the same Denuvo build that will ship. Reviewers, in that wording, should see what a buyer sees.

This note dates the release to 20 March. It does not check whether the answer stops the cancellations.
