The studio again says Forza Horizon 6 hits PS5 in 2026

In a long post about British cars and the day's launch of Drift Attack, Playground Games added a short closer. If you are planning a virtual trip to Japan on PlayStation 5, keep an eye out: Forza Horizon 6 reaches PS5 later this year. The PlayStation Store page is already up, and the game can be wishlisted.

There is still no exact date. Talk of an announcement at Tokyo Game Show 2026 late this month is only a guess. The game was part of that show last year, and nobody has officially promised a repeat. "Later this year" restates the original announcement without adding a calendar day. On PC and Xbox Series the game is already out.

The British Automotive update itself adds Drift Attack as a permanent mode and uses it to unlock the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition. It also calls a takeover of Horizon Stadium and three cars that are new to the Horizon series. Playlist rewards include the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed, the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior, and the 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR.
