Previews describe the camp, bounties and weather as systems
While gameplay video stays under embargo until 4 March, details from six-hour Crimson Desert sessions spread from a Korean forum. The Greymane camp is Kliff’s base and a management layer: mercenaries are sent in real time for timber, ore and rare materials, and the hall, forge and dining hall change the quality of crafted gear.
The camp has crops and livestock, and cooking gives combat bonuses. NPCs keep a schedule, shelter from rain and react to temperature and to the player. The retelling compares that to Red Dead Redemption 2. A witness can report a crime, the wanted level rises, and capture means jail. The sentence can be served or escaped, but an escape confiscates gear that has to be recovered in a separate task. Reputation changes shop prices.
Temperature shows on the minimap, cold calls for a campfire, and rain increases lightning damage. Ice arrows can make a river crossing, and fire spreads through grass with the wind. Horses are tamed and have temperaments. Companion bonds build, and there are shared finishing moves.
