The Tarnished Edition story trailer restates the path to the throne

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco America released a story trailer for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. The Nintendo Switch 2 launch is set for 28 August, late in the summer.

The clip shows the Lands Between again: a world in ruin, with grace still leading the way. The Tarnished still has the same task, to pass through deadly places, take the Elden Throne, and become Elden Lord.

On the handheld the game is heavy on storage: the files take about 41 GB. The package includes Shadow of the Erdtree from the start, with its new story and new lands, not only the 2022 map.

Beyond that, the edition has its own set. Two starting classes, new armor, and cosmetics, including broader ways to change how Torrent looks. The trailer is selling the familiar story and those extras at the same time.
