Yen Press ships Elden Ring: Distant Tales on 16 July

Yen Press is preparing a manga titled Elden Ring: Distant Tales. It does not retell the main journey. It follows side stories from the Lands Between. The first volume is scheduled for 16 July 2026.

Four years have passed since the game launched. The project is still tied to Hidetaka Miyazaki and to the mythology George R. R. Martin wrote for it. The new series turns toward characters who, inside the game, received only brief hints.

Rya, Blackguard Big Boggart, and Blaidd the Half-Wolf are named at the center. Promised threads include a possible friendship between Roderika and the people of the Roundtable Hold, and fresh food-hunting errands for Boggart.

The artist is Haruichi. The publisher is not treating this as a single book: the series is meant to fill the gap between major FromSoftware releases and give readers a reason to look at this world again.
