The village: save the first shotgun for the house with the pitchfork, clear the crowd with the pistol

The village shotgun is wasted on the boars by the gate. The two-story house with the pitchfork is where it starts to matter.

The crowd by the well: pistol plus the grenade from the crate. Do not hoard the herb at the windmill. The boss hits in a combo.

That is how I cleared it on S+. God Mode is overkill for the village.
