Remedy released a Control Resonant trailer of critic scores

On 2 October Remedy put out a trailer built from critic reaction to Control Resonant. The game launched on 24 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Metacritic lists it at 83 from 75 reviews.

The cut shows the high end: 10/10 from Vice and Loot Level Chill, 5/5 from VGC, Omelete, and Radio Times, and 9/10 from GameSpot. The note with the video also cites an 8/10 from IGN and other scores around 90 and up. The praise called out is the warped Manhattan, the art direction, melee and Dylan’s abilities, and the atmosphere and story. Lower reviews are left out of this kind of reel.

The studio’s caption sketches the setup in brief: paranormal forces have Manhattan on the edge, ordinary rules of reality are slipping, and Dylan Faden has to hold the threat back, take the city, and fight for control. The game is on sale.
