Charting the Unknown ships on 15 October: a ship, a castle and romance

At a PlayStation State of Play, Pearl Abyss presented the expansion Charting the Unknown. The release is 15 October 2026. The story starts immediately after the ending of the base game and promises a more dangerous continuation of Kliff’s path.

Kliff becomes captain of his own ship and heads into uncharted waters. Sea travel is tied to large underwater ruins. You can build your own castle and set up outposts and other points on the map. The base game had no romance lines. The expansion adds them.

The combat side grows with new boss mechanics, weapons and unique armor sets. This is endgame after March 2026, not another weekly patch.
