Users rank Crimson Desert second in 2026, behind Requiem

After the fixes from 22 March, the Crimson Desert user score on Metacritic reached 8.8 out of 10. The only 2026 game above it is Resident Evil Requiem at 9.4. Pokémon Pokopia is at 8.5. The press holds 7.7 out of 10, 48th on the yearly chart. Reviewers scored the launch, before the updates of 22–23 March.

Among the fixes, the note names chests for gear, the interface, the controls and more convenient fast-travel points. That is part of the plan, not the full list.

On the story, players and critics agree: it is weak. Kliff’s actor said the script was rewritten many times, and the last edits went in almost at release.
