Players read seaweed and the southern island as a hint of a sea DLC

Pearl Abyss has not revealed what the Crimson Desert expansion contains. A week earlier the DLC release was named for 2026. Players reading the latest patches guess at a sea theme: in NANGPLE’s clip, blue seaweed appeared underwater and white sand appeared on the coast.

Past the edge of the explorable map, the community notes edits to what it calls the Southern Island. The sea near the northern desert now shows underwater areas. The most noticeable addition they name is a mysterious underwater island east of the map.

The studio has not confirmed that theme. The frames are an observation of changes already in the game, not an announcement of islands and ships.
