After the patch, rare mounts turned into horses

A large Crimson Desert update added difficulty levels, adjusted inventory and let the hero tame companion birds. Along with that, players write that exotic mounts vanished from accounts. Polar bears and wolves in many cases became ordinary horses. Hours of finding and taming were wiped.

Within a few hours Pearl Abyss confirmed it knows about the disappearance. The technical team is restoring data. Until the fix, the studio asks people not to do anything in the stables.

Difficulty and the birds stayed in the patch. The bug is about rare beasts already caught, not the new system.
