The Cyberpunk card game closed Kickstarter at 27.1 million dollars

WeirdCo's campaign for the Cyberpunk card game, approved by CD Projekt Red, closed at 27,120,208 dollars from 48,082 backers. It passed one million within minutes of the March launch.

The platform gave the project two record labels: the most funded card game on Kickstarter, and the most funded game campaign in the service's history.

The previous marker was Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere role-playing game, which raised 15.1 million in 2024. The Night City card game nearly doubled that.

For a universe that began as a troubled RPG launch, the tabletop total is a separate chapter. The audience is paying for cards before the deck has gone to print.
