A 1 GB Radeon R7 370 held Cyberpunk near 40 frames
An enthusiast ran Cyberpunk 2077 on an AMD Radeon R7 370 with 1 GB of GDDR5. On low settings with FSR the frame rate floated between 22 and 25 and dropped hard. He then edited usersettings.json and turned off global illumination, screen-space reflections, volumetric fog, bloom, blur, aberration, grain, lens flare, anti-aliasing, and dynamic decals.
Rendering was forced down to 640×480 with integer scaling to fill the screen. FSR was switched off: at that base resolution, on the old architecture, it only cost time. The built-in benchmark then showed 44 frames while video memory stayed inside 1 GB.
Driving in the city sat at 38–40 frames, combat at 25–35, and some interiors near 50. The image went flat, closer to games from older consoles. The experiment is on YouTube.
On paper the game became finishable on a card that meets none of the official requirements. The price is resolution and light.
