The Elden Ring film wrapped after nearly four months
A24's Elden Ring film has moved into post-production. Prop maker Sean Schofield, who previously worked on The Witcher and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, wrote that filming had officially ended after nearly four months.
He posted a keepsake for the crew and thanked his colleagues, calling the picture a dream project. It is a note from someone on the set, not a studio trailer, but it is enough to mark the shoot as closed.
During production, photos had already shown sets resembling Stormveil Castle and Liurnia of the Lakes, along with Queen Marika, the Dung Eater, and Sorcerer Rogier. Director Alex Garland, known for Ex Machina, Annihilation, and Civil War, has said he finished Elden Ring several times.
The premiere is set for 3 March 2028. Effects and the edit are still ahead: the shooting days are over, not the film.
