Tarnished Edition for Switch 2 launches on 28 August

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware named the day: Elden Ring Tarnished Edition comes to Switch 2 on 28 August. A rumored July storefront date is replaced here by a direct one.

The edition is built as everything in one package. It holds the base Elden Ring and the main expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree. On top of that it promises new armor, weapons, and ways to change how Torrent looks.

The same extra set is later promised on other platforms, not only on Nintendo's handheld. The Switch 2 package is still the most complete one at launch.

The base game and Shadow of the Erdtree are already on sale for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on PC. The port does not replace those versions. It adds another one.
