An Elden Ring set leak started an argument over a possible Rennala

Leaked photos from the Elden Ring set split the conversation. Part of the attention fell on a dark-skinned actress in fantasy clothes. Some people decided she might be not a student of Raya Lucaria and not a Leyndell extra, but Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon.

Others answered that the Lands Between was never only a European Middle Ages. The Samurai is a starting class. The character editor includes dark skin tones and dreadlocks. Blackguard Big Boggart already lives in this world.

A separate argument is not about faces at all. Some people do not see the point of moving Elden Ring to a screen: the game's straight plot is thin, the goal comes down to beating powerful beings, and the history sits in item descriptions and short lines of dialogue.

No official role list came with the photos. For now the Rennala guess remains a guess, not a confirmed casting.
