Control Resonant peaked at 42,799 players on Steam over the weekend

Over the weekend after the 24 September launch, Control Resonant reached 42,799 concurrent players on Steam. The same counter screenshot showed about 28,092 people online beside that record. It is Remedy’s highest figure on the store.

The studio’s earlier peaks sit much lower: the original Control at 9,193, Alan Wake at 6,652, Quantum Break at 2,719, and FBC: Firebreak at 1,992. The new record is nearly five times the first Control’s best Steam peak.

When that snapshot was taken, Steam reviews were 89% positive, the band the store labels Very Positive. A few days after launch the audience was still there.
