NPCs walk after a dropped apple and fall off a log

If food is dropped, a passerby in Crimson Desert picks it up. Korean creator moshola_aaa set an apple on the end of a log over a canyon. Pathfinding cannot handle the log, but the wish to take the fruit is stronger: townspeople jump, hit the log and fall.

The same discussions recall other small systems: cooking meat with light reflected off a sword, and luring shellfish with salt. The apple trap is a pathing failure plus the rule “pick up food,” not a separate quest.

Pearl Abyss knows about experiments like this and keeps editing scripts. The note does not say the log will be removed.
