Pearl Abyss video introduces Kliff and Pywel’s five regions

Pearl Abyss posted a 15-minute video, Feature Overview 1: Kliff and the Open World of Pywel. It walks through the story, the hero and the seamless continent of Crimson Desert.

Kliff is a Greymane warrior from the northern region of Pailune. After a fragile peace breaks, he has to reunite the faction and reclaim its home. The threat then spreads to all of Pywel: fragments of the Abyss, a realm that has lost its balance, fall onto the continent, and some factions try to wield that power.

The land is split into Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesia and the Crimson Desert. Regions can be explored in any order, with sieges, large battles, faction quests and shorter story tasks. Two more playable heroes with their own combat styles join later. Travel covers riding, climbing and gliding, then rocket devices and a dragon. Launch is 19 March 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
