CybrDrake's mod switches Night City between first and third person

Modder CybrDrake released Immersive Third Person – Best Of Both Worlds. The mod adds a third-person camera and a separate animation set, without touching the original first-person movement. The switch works while walking.

The camera rotates freely, collides with walls, and changes distance. There are five saved profiles. For female V the author rebuilt walking, running, sprinting, jumps, landings, swimming, sliding, dashes, ladders, and ledges. Male V so far mostly received fixes to existing clips. CybrDrake says the better result right now is playing as the female character.

In combat, in a vehicle, in cutscenes, and at terminals the mod returns to first person on its own, then restores the chosen angle. The setting survives a restart. The loot camera and the head look can be adjusted.

The build is still rough. The author tested it only with the required dependencies and suggests a new playthrough. This is not the studio abandoning first person. It is a fan-made second lens.
