The RE4 remake sold another million in the quarter before Requiem

Capcom's report for October through December 2025 shows Resident Evil 4 Remake adding more than a million copies. The company ties the jump to anticipation for Resident Evil Requiem, which was then still set for February 2026.

The same quarter lists Village at about 700,000, the Resident Evil 2 remake and Resident Evil 7 at 500,000 each, and the 2020 Resident Evil 3 remake at 300,000. Lifetime sales for the whole series passed 183 million.

For a 2023 game about Leon and Ashley, that is a fresh wave rather than leftover launch demand. People were buying the remake again while they waited for the next numbered entry. The figures were cited by Genki.
