Circana still ranks Requiem as the US best-seller of 2026

A fresh Circana chart shared by analyst Mat Piscatella still has Resident Evil Requiem as the best-selling game of 2026 in the United States. The ranking tracks dollars from physical copies and full digital games. Mobile titles and digital add-ons are left out. The window runs from 4 January through 29 August 2026.

The top five are Resident Evil Requiem (Capcom), 007 First Light (IO Interactive), NBA 2K27 (Take-Two Interactive), MLB: The Show 26 and Crimson Desert (Pearl Abyss).

Capcom’s horror has held that top spot for several months in a row, ahead of the annual sports games and the year’s other big releases.
